Sister Wives - S17E4: And Then There Were Three

This week we see Janelle take one for the team in an attempt to rally some excitement for the dream that is Coyote Pass. While unfortunately we know nothing has come to fruition even to this day, she gets so much credit for trying. Christine tells the other wives she is moving on and we were a bit surprised by some of the responses. Either way, she is off to bigger and better things. Kody ends the episode by giving a speech on patriarchy, respect and being the head of the household again... a gem.

Alexis and Justin start more drama within the couples and thrive on the negative energy. Lindy reminds Miguel that he hasn't seen her anger yet. Nate and Stacia continue to be the most promising couple. Krysten reaches a breaking point with Mitch and oh boy, very understandable. Binh and Morgan decide to go their separate ways and we are not sad we won't be seeing this story line anymore.

There is an even more clear divide in the individuals who are willing to work with their partners and those who are not. Maybe it's just recency bias but I feel like in previous seasons it was a little bit harder to tell who was going to say yes on decision day. This season though, I feel it's getting more clear who can even stand to be in the same room with their partner.

The answer is yes, absolutely there is a favorite wife. We do love that everyone is saying the quiet part out loud now. We continue to see the end of Kody's relationship with everyone (except Robyn) and the start of what will be another incredibly sad moment for Ysabel as she prepares to go off to college. We can't wait to see her growth when she is finally away from Kody.

Married At First Sight - S15E11: Back to Our Future

I think we have officially witnessed the worst advice one of the experts has given to a struggling couple. This being, the advice given to Binh and Morgan. Morgan has completely checked out, is in full punishment mode and has moved out of the apartment. I don't think writing a letter to their younger self is going to save this. This advice was given to every couple regardless of their relationship status but I'll admit I do like to hear what people say. 
Justice for Maya, something isn't adding up here. I need a video of her, a recent picture, something. At this point, Justin is supposed to pick between Alexis and Maya. He has to pick between his dog of almost seven years and a partner of 5 weeks who doesn't really provide any indication that she actually likes him. To each their own! 
I'm looking forward to next week and the parenting issues that will arise from caring for a doll. I can easily see this spiraling between the couples.

While there were developments with almost every couple this week, nothing comes close to what played out between Morgan and Binh. I can see both sides of this but the reaction just feels so over the top. We talk about everyone this week but oh boy, there was a lot to unpack between these two. This all stems from the nurse thing right? We're still there? Got it.
