Married at First Sight - S17E3: Hard Launch

We finish up the weddings this week, from the final "I do" to driving off under the moonlight. There was plenty of initial conversations, photos, cake cutting and speeches but it's time for the real fun to begin.

This week on Sister Wives we finally have Kody tell Meri that he's done. As much as he has said it on camera, this is probably one of the only times he's been very clear and honest with Meri. Now if he could get Robyn to stop begging Meri to stay, she could probably move on and begin to heal. 
We also see Truly begin to face her fears and start the process of learning how to ride a bike, Gabe and Garrison gift Janelle garden boxes for her birthday and Mykelti reveals she is having twins.

Married at First Sight - S17E2: Rocky Mountain Romance

We are heavily rooting for everyone but definitely Lauren and Orion. Their vows and interactions with each other were so sweet and we think they will really respect and take care of each other. We also saw the wedding of Becca and Brennan and while we had to lightly roast Brennan for his lack of hair cut, we still think they're adorable and will work well with each other. We were surprised to see an expansion of what Michael went through on his wedding day and it was nice to see how gracious he was to his should-have-been bride. Next up: Cameron and Clare!

Sister Wives - Season 18, Episode 10: Don’t Put All Your Eggs in One Basket

In this episode of Sister Wives we see more family talk revolving around holidays and potential plans, Robyn begrudgingly brings Ari and Sol over to Meri's for a play-date and Christine and Janelle reflect on their relationship with Kody and how time was previously allocated. In a fun bonus we see Christine explain that you definitely don't have to sleep with someone else to officially be divorced in their culture :)

Sister Wives - Season 18, Episode 9: Battle Lines Are Drawn

What an episode! While the acting wasn't great at times, we still got so much information! Hearing from the kids really puts the damage Kody and Robyn have done into prospective. We always try to guess how they feel, but to really hear it and hear how they have been treated is wild.

Sister Wives - Season 18, Episode 8: The Writing Is on the Wall

The conversation between Kody, Meri and Robyn was so insulting! Not only the suggestion that Meri move into Kody and Robyn's loft among all their crap but also Kody's really cool new ring and total disregard for Meri. 
We also get to see a small bit of Janelle and Kody's first date after their big fight. Leon and I disagree about if Janelle should have even entertained the date but in the end, Janelle got the answers she needed.

Sister Wives - Season 18, Episode 7: Throwing in the Towel

We start out the episode with a couple of rants and then right into Sister Wives. We enjoyed the episode this week and all the quiet parts now being said out loud! Janelle no longer wants to be married  to Kody and Christine is ready for all the snark and gossip. Meri tells Robyn she will be moving her clothing business to Utah as Robyn sits there and provides more examples of how she is a terrible friend.

Sister Wives - Season 18, Episode 6: The Understatement of the Year

We get one scene of Christine and one scene of Meri but otherwise this week revolved around Kody and Janelle's appointment. While Kody says he isn't going to get angry anymore, he is just as delusional and refuses to take any real action towards improving. We can't wait to see Janelle move on and be happy!

Sister Wives - Season 18, Episode 5: When the Going Gets Tough

While there were only two scenes this episode, there was still plenty for us to break down. While Kody and Robyn attempt to change the narrative, Janelle and Kristine find a way forward. Meri is beginning to see the truth and is slowly finding her way out. 
Bonus: you get to hear Ellie try to say "manipulative" the correct way multiple times :)
